with as many members that r on here i think a chat box would be a great idea??? any ideas?

i second the motion... an IRC would help out a lot in real time dialog, the drawbacks would be taht people can't find archived information talked about in a chat box

so how about a VN750 messenger..hehehe

I was just thinking IRC would be nice. I could maybe get one set up and have it log the chats and post them somewhere ever so often? Let me know if anyone else is interested. I can probably get it set up so that you can log in to a web based client if you don't have a client on your computer.

You need an IRC client like Pidgin or xircon or something like that.

EDIT: It is all fixed. Im still tweaking it but the server and room is up. Im also going to write up a little set of instructions for connecting. In the mean time, let me know if yall have any questions.

Its true. It is a similar thing to what I made except that it is hosted on their server and they give you the code for the webclient. The link I provided does a similar thing but the website also will give you the code to embed it in the forums as well. Either way. I just wanted to get something up to test if people would use it. More may use it if it was embedded in the site but the site admins have been missing for a while I think.

All I get is 'Could Not connect" when I try to log in...
