Spring has sprung, weather is nice. State highway workers are laying down pavement crack sealer. I thought it would be good to remind everyone about this issue as when the sealer gets hot it is slippery and can cause tires to break loose. It doesn't matter how small of an application it is but be more aware of any cracks over 2" as these are where the tires can "fall" into them even with the sealer applied.

I had encountered about 4 miles of sealer lined roads today and it felt like I was riding on putty. Please be careful out there.
