Welcome back to the NEW VN750.com (http://www.vn750.com/) !

http://www.vn750.com/images/misc/vn750.jpg

First off, sorry that we've been down so long!

NOTE: If you were registered on the old, simply use your old login and username for thew new site! All your info transferred over!

You probably already noticed the new look (and I hope you like it!), but what you might not notice is that we are on a new dedicated server which will hopefully make for quick pageloads and robust stability.

There are some changes to the structure of the forum itself. We've removed and condensed some of the redundant forums to make the website a bit more compact and easier to navigate. No posts have been removed though, they have just been moved to newly created sections which are clearly marked to make finding the info you need easy and quick!

My pet project has been a searchable and indexed version of the Vulcan Verses. Well folks, we've got it! Thanks to the great work by Stewart in putting the Vulcan Verses together, we've taken the step of making them an integral part of the forum. This makes finding information in the Verses as easy as hitting the Search button. :) Check the Verses out HERE (http://www.vn750.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=36)

Our other new addition that is coming very soon is the Photo Gallery. This is something you've all been asking for and hopefully it should be up within a week. The Gallery will allow you to upload your photos and link them to your username.

We will continue to be adding features and we want your suggestions! If you can think of anything or have any questions on how to use a forum feature, feel free to post in the Suggestions / Tech Support forum and let us know what we can do to make VN750 better for you!

Also, if you see any items that are not working properly on the site, please let us know!!! We'll get right on fixing it!

Again, welcome back and Happy Riding! :)

I also wanted to thank Spence again for creating the original VN750 site. Without the original site, I probably would not have bought my VN700 and I'm happy to be able to take on making this place the best it can be! :smiley_th

Great work and I especially like the work done on the Vulcan Verses.
Couple of questions.. I did notice that the Gathering info page is now a post in the forum. Is it possible to still have it set as a page that we can link to?
Several of the "Gathering" type events have pages set up and that way it makes it easier for the VN750.com and the VN750 Yahoo Group to access.
Also, I'm sure they are here somewhere but.. the links page and a few others that we had? Is everything driven off the forum or will there be regular page links as well? Possiby under the Quick Links?
Also a link back to the Yahoo group would be nice...
Sorry if they are here and I just don't see them yet. I have been exploring!

Hi Dianna,

I'll be adding back the static pages as soon as possible regarding the meets. I currently have a link to the Yahoo group on the homepage under Navigation, but I'll also be adding a link to the header navbar.

I try to keep everything based off of the forum only because it makes "searching" easier for the members...however I know that some events deserve their own page, so they will defintely be coming back, hopefully within a day or so. I'm going through alot of the old pages and trying to format them into the style of the new site.

Glad everyone likes what we have so far! ;)

Definitely Thank You and all those who keep us informed! We all share a bike that NO ONE BUILDS ANYTHING FOR!!! so it is nice when we can find whatever works out there. Already, my new maintence free battery is doing well, my back rest is on its way and I am getting two 33 oz. MSR containers as soon as I can get to our local backpacking store! Thanks Guys, Ken
