would any of you be interested on in informal campout and ride around the gorge and natural bridge this spring or summer

My vacation time is significantly limited this summer, and I work weekends. But I will say that the Red River Gorge area is a beautiful place for riding, camping, and hiking.

Some of us (although with 6000 members it should be alot more!!) will be at Kentucky Lake for the VN750 Gathering in early August. The specific details are probably posted over at the Yahoo site. (My company blocks access to the Yahoo message boards, so I don't have the dates handy). If you wanted to schedule something to coincide with that I might be interested since I'll be in KY then anyway.

how far is it from Springfield to Kentucky Lake ,it is about 7 hrs for me in a cage I live on the opposite end of the state 10 MIles from WV

Last year it was about an 7 hour ride, without the breaks.

I have asked the primary instigator to post a notice over here on the forum with the dates and details for this year. It is basically Thur, Fri and Sat night, with rides every day and basic hangin out at night with good food all the way. It is held at a resort with cabins. The group goes from 15 to 30 I guess depending on the year. Last year was my first. Nice folks, not your normal biker rally at all.
